LangTown Privacy Policy

LangTown (“we”) provides a language-learning game. This policy describes what data we collect and how we use it.

Data we collect

• Account information (email, display name) when you sign up
• Language preferences, progress, inventory, houses, and practice history
• Purchase / subscription status via Google Play and RevenueCat
• Chat and quiz content you submit for AI scoring and content generation
• Basic device and diagnostics needed to run the app
• Usage analytics — feature-usage events (for example app opens and quiz completions) sent to PostHog, our US-hosted analytics processor. Events use a random identifier, or your account ID once you sign in, and contain no advertising identifiers.

How we use data

• To operate gameplay, multiplayer, and subscriptions
• To generate and score language practice with AI providers
• To prevent abuse and enforce fair-use limits

Sharing

We use processors such as Supabase (backend), RevenueCat / Google Play (billing), PostHog (usage analytics), and an AI provider for practice content. We do not sell personal data.

Retention & deletion

You may request account deletion by contacting support at [email protected]. We delete or anonymize account data within a reasonable period unless required to retain it by law.

Children

LangTown is not directed to children under 13.
