How the partner code works
Each partner gets a unique code, for example YOURSCHOOL. Learners who use it get 10% off Local or Patron.
Learners use the code by:
- Opening langtown.app/?code=YOURSCHOOL or langtown.app/?ref=YOURSCHOOL
- Typing it at sign-up, on the upgrade screen, or in Profile
The discount applies at checkout on the web and in the Android app (Google Play). One partner code per learner.
Commission
Partners earn 20% of what each referred learner pays, calculated in USD on the amount actually paid (after the discount).
It is recurring: the first payment, renewals, and plan changes, for as long as the learner stays subscribed. LangTown tracks every one of those payments against the partner's code.
Payouts are sent once a partner has earned at least $100.

Can a learner use two codes?
No. One partner code per learner. After a learner pays with a code, that code stays with them.
